FAQ’s

What is the difference between Medicare & Medicaid?2022-09-09T16:44:49+00:00

Medicare and Medicaid are both government healthcare programs but they are very different. Medicare is generally for people who are 65 and older or who are disabled. Medicaid is for people with limited income and resources. When a person qualifies for both programs out-of-pocket costs can be minimal.

When should I apply for Medicare?2022-09-09T16:45:14+00:00

For most individuals, applying for Medicare at least 6 months prior is advised to ensure appropriate effective dates.

For individuals working beyond age 65, check when your current coverage ends and sign up for Medicare about a month earlier. Signing up for Medicare before your current coverage ends can help you avoid a gap in coverage.
